Character Sheet Commission: Celeste

Celeste Coerullus

Personality: Celeste tends to be more mature. She mostly tends to be on the lighter side of things and does her best to keep herself and those around her happy. Though if times are extremely stressful it can take a toll on her. During combat, she’s like a different person entirely. She becomes very serious and focuses on the fight at hand. 

Weapon: Celeste’s weapon is a two-handed longsword, called “Scintillate”, which she wields with one hand. Her sword play tends to be on the slower more precise side, she will focus more on technique and strength. When she strikes with her sword, the blade will glow with a white light. The sword was created by Celeste’s mother specifically made for her aura, thus only those who have semblances/auras that relate to light can wield the weapon to it’s full potential. For any other person, it would just be an extremely heavy sword. 

Semblance: for a short amount of time (15 seconds), Celeste can focus her light to greatly increase the speed and aggressiveness of her swordplay all while keeping her technique intact. She will tend to use her semblance as a last resort to finish a fight, since after the 15 seconds her body will be fatigued for at least 2 minutes due to aura recovery. 

Backstory: Celeste grew up with her sister Amber and her parents in the outskirts of Vale. Their parents passed away when they were 8 years old. Since then the two sisters have been travelling Remnant. They will usually try to stay in one place for a few months, save up Lien and then move on to the next place. In a way, they’re in search of a new place they can call home.
